¹ Stripe charges its own standard processing fee on every card transaction (e.g. 1.4% + €0.25 for European cards). On the Starter plan, Ananda's 3% platform fee is collected in addition to that. On Grow and Scale, you only pay Stripe's fee — Ananda takes nothing. PayPal, bank transfer, and in-studio payments are available from the Grow plan onwards.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I cancel whenever I want?
- Absolutely. Paid plans are month-to-month or year-to-year — no contracts, no lock-in. You can cancel from your dashboard at any time and you'll keep full access until the end of your current billing period. The Starter plan is free forever, so there's nothing to cancel there.
- Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
- No. You can register and run your studio for 14 days without entering any payment details. We'll only ask for billing information if you decide to continue on a paid plan — and we'll send you a reminder before your trial ends.
- What happens when my trial ends?
- Near the end of your 14-day trial, we'll prompt you to choose a plan. If you don't take action, your account drops to the Starter plan automatically — your data stays intact, but paid features become unavailable. No surprise charges, ever.
- Can I switch plans at any time?
- Yes, upgrading or downgrading is self-service from your dashboard — no need to contact support. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades apply at the end of your current billing cycle so you're never charged twice for the same period.
- What exactly are the transaction fees?
- Every payment processor (Stripe, PayPal) charges their own fee on each transaction — that's independent of Ananda and applies everywhere. On top of that, the Starter plan has a 3% Ananda platform fee per online payment. On Grow and Scale that drops to 0%, so you keep more of every transaction. Bank transfer and in-studio payments are fee-free on all plans.
- What payment methods can my students use?
- The Starter plan includes Stripe card payments. From the Grow plan onwards, you can also accept PayPal, bank transfer, and in-person payment (cash, terminal, etc.). Each method can be enabled or disabled independently from your settings.
- Are there any other fees I should know about?
- No. We don't charge per class, per student, or per booking. The monthly or annual plan price and the transaction fee (Starter only) are the only Ananda costs. For EU-based studios, applicable VAT is added on top of the plan fee unless you provide a valid EU VAT ID.
